1. Matcha Drink On the sweeter side, even for someone who regularly drinks sweet beverages. The texture was a bit grainy and lacked the fragrant, earthy notes expected from matcha. Tasted somewhat artificial and not fragrant at all. Portion was large, mainly due to the generous amount of ice. ⸻ 2. Waffle & Ice Cream Waffle was large, with a fluffy and airy exterior, while the inside remained chewy and soft. Sauce was placed at the bottom, so the waffle soaked it up and turned soft — not a problem, though having the sauce on the side would allow better control. The waffle had good flavor on its own. Salted butterscotch ice cream had a very strong salty taste — works better with the waffle than on its own. The Hershey’s chocolate sauce tasted a bit artificial- did not like it. They had quite a large range of interesting ice cream flavours, looking forward to try those in future. ⸻ 3. Brownie This was not it! Had a puke-like-after taste More on the dry and cakey consistency, would not recommend omg…. ⸻ 4. Ambience & Others Aircon was cold, plenty of seating available, and the café offers free Wi-Fi and a toilet — convenient and comfortable overall.

Visited Kreme Cafe on 16 Aug 2025 and tried their Rose Lychee cake—$4 per slice and absolutely worth it. You can really taste the rose and bits of lychee, with light cream and just the right amount of sweetness. The café is spacious and air-conditioned, perfect for a quiet afternoon alone or with friends. Wide menu selection and great ambience. Highly recommended for dessert lovers looking for a cozy spot in Serangoon North. 154 Serangoon North Ave 1, #01-404, Singapore 550154 8:30am–9:30pm ( Tue - Sun )
